Final edit.

We have now completed all of our editing, and to show this, here is a screen shot, of all our clips, now all put together and organized!

Towards the end of editing..

We have come along way, from initially filming out footage, and have now come to a stage where we have almost completed our video.

Things such as the actually footage being put together (from start, middle, to end), are now in place, and edited correctly.
The only things we can do now, is maybe play around with the brightness of some of our clips, and possibly the saturation.
We have completed all our green screen work also, and have chromo key'd it all correctly, and placed the clips where they should be (where the chorus is).
The only thing we need to do now, is like I said, play around with some more editing to fine tune the video, and we also,
have to sync up some of the singing shots, as they are slighting off on timing.

Digi-pack / Our four panels

1st Panel - Front of the album.
2nd Panel - One of the middle pages of the album cover.
3rd Panel - Yet another for the inside of the front cover.
4th, and last panel - Back cover, featuring the tracks.

All of them together:

Screenshots of Editing

Below, are screenshots showing our editing progress so far. We have roughly 75% of the video edited, with the majority of green screen edited. We plan to have completed the full video by the 20th of December.

We will be publishing screenshots from start to end of how we performed certain tasks which were crucial for our video to look as professional as possible.

Planning behind the name of the artist, and artist logo.

The name of out dance/rap artist, is D=MC2

We chose this name in the end, after alot of suggestions, because of the following reasons:
  • Its differernt, and pretty simple, short, and sweet!
  • Darren, out actor/artist, himself, likes maths and science, so we thought his name should tie in well with himself, and his interests. (Like his personality being shown automatically through the name).
After coming up with our name, we started to think about our Digi-pack, what we would do, and also, about the artists logo.
While filming our actual footage, we both brough along spare cameras, so we could be productive with our time, and not only use the studio for filming, but also for some photos that might be used in our Digi-pack.
We got enough photos to play around with, but then had to think about his actual logo, that he would be known, and recognized by!

The following image, is what we came up with!

The image we came up with, consists of one simple font, a simple background, and a simple design in the background. We chose this font, because we didn't want to pick a font that would be complicated to understand. We chose this font, because of its playful, block lettering.
Also, the symbol in the background, also links to science, so not only the name, but the actual logo, give us a sense of the artist and what he likes.

The front cover of the album (1st panel), will of course though, feature out artist:
