- After filming all that needed to be filmed, we started to put together all/most of our clips, into Final Cut Pro.
- We began doing simple things such as putting the clips in order, and deleting/cutting what was not needed.
- After doing this we realized we would need some more shots of our Artist, in the studio, so we booked it out and got the rest of the footage that we needed.
We have now got all the footage we need, and can now continue to put the shots/clips in place, and begin to add music to the video, to be able to sinc in the clips/lip singing on screen, with the mp3 track.
We can also start playing about with different editing techniques, especially the whole split screen technique.
Given the fact that our video consists of 75% of green screen and only being a 2 person group, we realized editing would take a lot longer than just lesson time (90mins), so we booked days within the week where we could get a significent amount of editing completed, in order to catch up and have our video upto scratch and to a acceptable standard.
Our editing consisted of a lot of chopping each clip with one another which meant we either seperated the audio track from the video or kept it all intact. However, this meant lip syncing would be hard, because of the mixed audio tracks so we had to carefully watch our artist's mouth and exactly which part of the song he was performing.
